The Hope Shirt is a feminine piece made from surplus polyester velvet. It has long, straight sleeves and front pockets. The shirt has an O-neck and a placket with light mother-of-pearl buttons at the front. It is decorated with delicate motifs, such as a small flower, a heart and our 'Sissel' signature, created with embroidery and beads.
At SISSEL EDELBO we love finding new, innovative ways to make fashionable clothes. One way is to use surplus fabrics found at markets and in our suppliers' warehouses, also called 'deadstock fabrics'. As part of our values, we value the idea of using different kinds of existing surplus fabrics instead of producing new materials. Our styles made from surplus fabrics will always be in limited edition due to the limited amount of fabric left.
